I can’t believe how much Nathan has grown, even in the month or so since we photographed this session. He’s definitely a growing boy; these days he’s looking more and more like his dad. Both Harryson and Sarah have worked for the Amangani Resort in their culinary department, and they’re both incredibly talented cooks. We’ve been blessed by their friendship as well as their cooking since we’ve known them, and I’m excited to know another couple raising a diversely multi-ethnic son as well. 🙂
Harryson and his wife are both really hard workers, and it’s great to witness their growing love for each other as well as for Nathan.
We shot these maybe a week after our first snow, so not really that long ago. These were shot in Alta, close to the Grand Targhee Ski Resort. There was some light snow cover over the mountains – but they were still looking pretty grand. Baby Nathan got a little hungry during this set, and I think that worked out just fine. The best shots, I’ve found, are the photographs that capture the stories of life, and, with that in mind, what could be better subject matter than a family celebrating their newborn?
