Jackson Hole Wedding Photography Portrait of bride and groom kissing

Drue & Amanda, Modest Mountain Top Wedding, Signal Mountain Summit | Jackson Hole Wedding Photography

When I think about what I really remember from our own wedding, one of my first thoughts will always be how our friends and family came together to help us pull everything together.  And, really – what makes a good wedding story?  Details are amazing, craftsmanship, creativity – all of those things are definitely important – but, at the end of the day, it comes down to love, really.  Not simply love between newly united spouses, but also the love that so many people have poured in to those two to shape who they are individually up to that unique moment.  People – friends, family.  Relationships.  It’s an awesome privilege to get to photograph those moments when we photograph a wedding.

On that note – Drue and Amanda’s wedding started out relatively small in the planning stages, but, because of the people that love and support these two, it ended up becoming a really big deal, involving close family and very dear friends.  We were super grateful to be apart of Drue and Amanda’s special day.

About the location – Signal Mountain Summit has one of best views of Grand Teton National Park that you could get, in terms of maximum accessibility during the Spring/Summer season.  That said, the weather can be a bit unpredictable out here in Jackson, and we definitely saw a bit of snow while we were up there (I think it dropped down into the mid 30’s).  Keep in mind, this is June in Jackson!  All in all, everyone was able to stay relatively warm, and everything turned out great.

We’re super excited for these two – and we’re excited to be able to share their day with you all.
