I’ve had the privilege of shooting a number of intimate weddings, this summer, and they typically create a bit of a different dynamic that I’ve actually come to enjoy. With less planning – and often times myself being the only Jackson Hole wedding vendor at the wedding – I get the unique opportunity to get to know the bride, the groom, and their families on a more personal level.

When I was done photographing Jamie and Esther’s wedding out at Grant Village, Yellowstone Lake, I drove home almost feeling like I had become a family friend. I’m not sure if they felt the same way or not 😛 but I know I definitely enjoyed myself with this couple. They were really genuine and trusting, and I think that really allowed me to capture them in some great moments.

I also want to point out that Jamie and Esther had Mason Jar wine glasses. That’s pretty flippin’ sweet.
