There’s something amazing about flying – about airplanes.  For millennia, mankind has studied, tried, and failed hundreds of times in our attempt to take to the skies, and yet these days giant machines soar through the sky every few minutes.

I hope I was able to capture some of that original wonder in this set.

Jordan and Ken are both great people, and I definitely had a really memorable time with both of them as I had the great privilege of commemorating their engagement through photography.  There were definitely some moments that really struck me, even apart from the fact that we were styled a shoot around an air plane (!).  There was definitely some dreamy light when the Tetons broke through towards the end of our shoot at the Jackson Hole air plane hangar.

I hope all the best for them as their new life together takes off in a couple months.  And.  That was a pun.  (But I meant it)
