The June Gloom has been fairly prominent this year here in the Tetons – following a fairly dry spell that’s been plauging much of the Rocky Mountain Range (our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by the fires). At times, it can be a bit of a gamble trying to go out and shoot when the weather is a little unpredictable. \u00a0This engagement session, however, turned out great – it might be one of my favorites, in fact. \u00a0Not simply because of the photos, but because this couple’s just so darn cool.<\/p>\n
Ryan and Rachel both spent a good amount of their lives out here in Jackson Hole – but interestingly enough, Ryan spent some of his childhood years in one of the old houses along Mormon Row, by the Moulton Barn – a pretty popular tourist spot out in the Tetons. In fact, Ryan’s family is responsible for building a number of the houses that line the old dirt road out there.<\/p>\n
These two are definitely the Jackson Hole Couple, through and through. Rachel even opted, completely on her own volition, to climb a tree in her stunning dress – at the same location (and in the same dress) that Ryan proposed to her at, which happened to be snow-covered at the time. Those are the kinds of things we really enjoy about our job. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n
