Maybe you’ve already read a bit about my wedding philosophy, but I really believe that all weddings are worth commemorating. It’s such a significant life event – literally, two human beings becoming one, and the people around them affirming that union. Whether you have hundreds of guests or just some really close family and friends, documenting your wedding well is important. All that’s to say, there are definitely aspects of smaller and simpler weddings that I’ve come to really enjoy – and I’ve had the absolute privilege of capturing a number of small weddings here in Jackson Hole.

This is one of them. Alisa, Brayden, and their family and friends were incredibly hospitable, but even more so I could tell there was a deep intimacy and affirmation emanating from all of them towards these two.

It’s hard to believe I photographed this wedding just a few weeks ago. Look at all that snow! Spring is upon us here in Jackson Hole, but Alisa and Brayden had several inches of fresh powder to ski just hours before their wedding down at Rancho Alegre.
