Well, it sure has been some time. Although I’ve shot quite a few real estate photography sessions and videos since moving to Murfreesboro from Wyoming, I have been minimally active in portrait photography since moving my family out of the Tetons. Something has been calling me back though – maybe it’s my God, maybe it’s my own ambition. But all that’s to say, this session with Sandip and his beautiful fiance was a great engagement portrait session for me to get back excited about photography again. Thank you both for having me, and thank you everyone who has supported me along the way.

Murfreesboro, and Middle Tennessee in general (especially the areas surrounding Nashville), has some really beautiful and historic scenery – including this setting here at the historic Oakland’s Mansion. It’s a beautiful area and really tells an important story about the history of Murfreesboro, particularly during the American Civil War.
