Golden Hour Photography of couple kissing in jackson hole

The Callahans | Jackson Hole Winter Photography

Admittedly, the majority of individuals that schedule sessions with me – be it family members, parents, fiances, or spouses – are female.  Of the men that have stepped up and pursued me themselves, most of the time I end up dealing with their respective better half before it’s all over.  And that’s ok!  Because honestly, men… wives, mothers, brides, etc., are good at those kinds of things.

But I will say, when a guy sets up, schedules everything, follows through and even has ideas of what his wife would want, it really stands out.  If I, good God willing, ever make it to old age and can’t tell a DSLR from a TV Remote, I’ll probably still remember how Cory handled the entire booking process (it’s not that long, but still) from start to finish, and how he handled it like a boss.  In fact, Cory planned what seems to be a good chunk of his and his wife’s one year anniversary – photos and all.

There was amazing lighting out in the Bridger Teton when we set out on our Jackson Hole Photography excursion, and the skies were much more clear than they had been in a while.  It was more than I could have hoped for, and in spite of some road closures we were able to scope out a secret spot of mine that I’ve been eyeing for some time and make it all happen.  Cory and Jessie, thanks for booking with me.  Enjoy your photos!  And sorry about your scarf!
