I’m hitting a point in my career as a photographer – an exciting point that I hadn’t thought much about – where I’ve been able to bridge that gap from clients to actual, real friendships.  I met Kris and Kelly way back at this wedding (Jean and Chas Starr) here in Jackson, and was able to reconnect with both of them just last month.  And not only them, but Jean, Chas, Jean’s wonderful parents, and a whole slew of familiar faces.

Granted, Kris is a friendly guy.  If you know the man, that goes without saying.  More than that, though – and take my word for this, I’ve shot a number of these weddings – here is a man that takes marriage seriously – who treasures his bride, and who prioritizes family as it ought to be in God’s good design for humanity.
