Rachel and Ryan | Jackson Hole Engagement Photography
The June Gloom has been fairly prominent this year here in the Tetons – following a fairly dry spell that’s been plauging much of the Rocky Mountain Range (our thoughts and prayers go out to all those affected by the fires). At times, it can be a bit of a gamble trying to go out and shoot when the weather is a little unpredictable. This engagement session, however, turned out great – it might be one of my favorites, in fact. Not simply because of the photos, but because this couple’s just so darn cool.
Ryan and Rachel both spent a good amount of their lives out here in Jackson Hole – but interestingly enough, Ryan spent some of his childhood years in one of the old houses along Mormon Row, by the Moulton Barn – a pretty popular tourist spot out in the Tetons. In fact, Ryan’s family is responsible for building a number of the houses that line the old dirt road out there.
These two are definitely the Jackson Hole Couple, through and through. Rachel even opted, completely on her own volition, to climb a tree in her stunning dress – at the same location (and in the same dress) that Ryan proposed to her at, which happened to be snow-covered at the time. Those are the kinds of things we really enjoy about our job. 🙂
We’re covering the wedding of these two next week end, and we couldn’t be more excited. Congratulations to you both!
